How we make money and stay impartial

whatcamera.co is free to use. Some links to UK retailers, such as MPB, Wex Photo Video, Park Cameras, Clifton Cameras, London Camera Exchange and Cotswold Cameras, may be affiliate links. If you buy after clicking one, the retailer may pay us a small commission. You pay the same price.

Commission never decides a pick

Our rankings come from the specs, prices and lens data in our database, scored the same way for every brand. We rank cameras before any retailer link is attached, we show the best option from Canon, Nikon and Sony and from Fujifilm, Panasonic, OM System, Pentax, Leica and Hasselblad where they fit, and we link to several dealers rather than one. If a retailer has no affiliate programme, we still link to it.

How to spot affiliate links

Affiliate links are marked in the page code with rel="sponsored", and pages that contain them say so near the retailer links.

Prices

New prices are typical UK prices and used prices are snapshots of MPB listings on the date shown on each page. Prices change, so always check the retailer before you buy.
